I dragged the newly created layer of the artists head, behind the two tune beat layers but left the box behind her head because the two parts to the masthead are slightly transparent and therefore you can still see the outline of her head through them.

Changing the Shape of a Box

I was able to create a box using the "rounded rectangle tool" but I found that the box wasn't the right shape and size. I clicked on the box at the top on the tool bar that said "show transform controls" then was able to drag the box to the shape and size that I wanted.

Changing the Spacing Between the Text

I was typing in the font size of 30 pt but the text was to far apart and didn't look very professional and so I was able to change the spacing so the text wasn't as far apart, this made it stand out more and was more eye catching.

Making Part of an Image into Another Layer

I learned how to use the magic select tool to select the artists face, this then allowed me to make the selected part of the image into another layer. Therefore I was able to move the layer above the text and masthead, so the masthead did not cover any of her face or head.

Using the Patch Tool

I learn't how to use the patch tool to hide the butterfly from shoot. After removing the the butterfly I regretted it so I brought it back afterwards.
